About me
Laura is a multi-media artist and filmmaker based in London, UK & Athens, Greece. She is pursuing an MA in Filmmaking at the London Film School following on from a degree in Neuroscience at UCL. Drawing on her experience in various disciplines such as dance, photography and fine art, Laura incorporates an interdisciplinary approach to her storytelling, dedicated to crafting authentic, emotionally rich stories. Her focus in filmmaking exists in writing, directing and cinematography. With knowledge in 5 languages and time spent living in several countries her work has multi-cultural influences.
Laura’s work centres on telling stories about the female experience from a female perspective, striving to challenge the dominance of the male gaze in contemporary cinema.
